DEQUE / 00 — Before the work13 questions — about 10 minutes

Find your thing.

Most career advice asks what you want. That’s the wrong question when you don’t know. This asks what you already do — where your time, money, energy and attention actually go when nobody’s telling you — and reads the pattern back to you. Then it gives you three things you could try, each with a first step small enough to do this week.

  • 01Answer with what’s true, not what sounds good. Nobody sees this but you.
  • 02Specific beats impressive. “I reorganise my camera roll” tells us more than “I’m creative”.
  • 03Skip a question if it’s blank for you. A gap is information too.
  • 04This is a mirror, not a verdict. It reads your pattern; it doesn’t decide your life.
